DAY 01 – ARRIVAL NAIROBI

Met upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by Msafiri Africa representative. Assistance and transfer to your hotel. Accommodation on bed & breakfast basis at The Nairobi Serena Hotel (BB)

DAY 02 – NAIROBI/MOUNT KENYA – SERENA MT. LODGE

After breakfast, drive north via Thika Karatina and Nyeri and then to Mount Kenya, arrive in time for lunch at your Lodge. After lunch you will enjoy animal viewing from your rooms. Dinner and overnight at Serena Mountain Lodge (LDBB)

Sailing like an ark amid the primeval forests of Kenya's highest mountain, Mount Kenya, this timbered tree hotel offers champagne-clear mountain air, sweeping views across the tree-canopy, sparkling trout streams, and gentle forest walks. Located at 2,134 meters above sea level, on the lower slopes of the mountain, the lodge is cool, tranquil and hushed for optimum game-sightings. The open-air viewing-deck looks down on to its own water hole and salt-lick, which attracts numerous herds of elephant and buffalo. There is also a tunnel leading to a photo-hide, which offers spectacular viewing and photographic opportunities just meters away from the wildlife at the water hole.

DAY 03 – MOUNT KENYA – LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast you will be collected for the day’s drive taking you past the Aberdares mountain range, via the Nyahururu waterfalls to the floor of the Great Rift Valley, destination Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch at the lodge. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive till sun set dinner and overnight at Sarova lion hill Lodge (LDBB)

Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge is nestled along the Lion Hill overlooking the spectacular flamingo pink rimmed Lake Nakuru. Its location affords panoramic views of the lake and the picturesque Lake Nakuru National Park. A short two-hour drive from Nairobi, Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge is a favorite with residents and visitors to Kenya. It is cleverly laid out in such a way that most rooms and sitting areas afford stunning views of the lake and the park. The Lodge incorporates natural landscaping with tall acacia trees, winding walkways and greens dotted with bird feeds. DAY 04 – LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK/MAASAI MARA RESERVE

After breakfast, drive to the Maasai Mara National Reserve offering wonderful scenery and plenty of game. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago. Arrive for lunch at your lodge. Afternoon game drive. Until sunset. Meals and overnight at Mara Serena Safari Lodge (LDBB)

Perched on the saddle of a hill, the Mara Serena Safari Lodge offers spectacular views across the vast plains, forests and rivers that make up the Maasai Mara – one of the world’s richest wildlife sanctuaries. The hotel has been designed to mirror a traditional Maasai village and the 74 guest rooms are located in individual domed huts each with a private balcony looking out over the landscape. The lodge has a swimming pool, a restaurant overlooking a waterhole where wildlife gather, and several treatment rooms where massages are available. DAY 05 – MAASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

DAY 06 – MAASAI MARA TO NAIROBI

After breakfast, drive to Arusha for lunch. Optional day room. In the evening transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight back home. Msafiri Africa representative will re-confirm your onward flight, and assist you at check-in. End of our services.
